Merrick County Sheriff’s Office informs public on warrant scam
CENTRAL CITY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a phone scam after receiving a report Thursday from a local resident. The resident said someone called claiming to be a sergeant with the department say they had failed to appear in federal court and had a warrant out for their arrest.
